Conveniently located outside the courthouse, to the east of the postal service mailbox, there is a Buffalo Bridges Human Service Zone drop box attached to the railing. The box is checked frequently and items in the box will be date stamped for that day.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Human Service Zone is a department of the Barnes County government that has been designated by law to provide assistance and services to the citizens of Barnes County,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The majority of the services\/programs offered by the county are done in conjunction with the state and the federal agencies, particularly the North Dakota Department of Human Services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Buffalo Bridges Human Services Zone provides a wide range of services including both social services and economic assistance programs. Some Services are provided directly by county employees and others are provided through contracts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
